11th IMYB 2020 will be in Slovenia!

On Monday, September 17, 2018, ICYB and Slovenian Beekeepers ‘Association (BAS) signed a document by which Slovenia is entrusted by ICYB with the organization of the 11th International Meeting of Young Beekeepers, IMYB, in 2020. The announcement has been also published on BAS website.

Co-organizer of this meeting will be the town Ivanča Gorica, which is the place of the origin of Carniolan Bees (Podsmreka Castle in Višnja Gora). Our goal of that year is participation of 50 countries from all continents. Slovenia is a very great choice as it has extensive experience in organizing large international events and it has over 40-year tradition of beekeeping clubs and state competitions of young beekeepers.
