Pavel Filo was awarded honorary membership in ICYB

During the plenary meeting on 10th August 2019, the core members of ICYB – International Center for Young Beekeepers, z.s. unanimously granted honorary membership to Ing. Pavel Fiľo for an excellent organization of the International Meeting of Young Beekeepers IMYB in 2015 and 2019 in Slovakia and for the lifelong support of work with beekeeping youth in Slovakia. Ing. Pavel Fiľo is a life-long beekeeper and director of the Secondary Technical School Pod Bánoším in Banská Bystrica in Slovakia. The honorary membership was given to Ing. Pavel Fiľo on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Provincial Headquarters of Beekeeping Associations in Slovakia, which took place on 16-18 August 2019 in Kralová pri Senec in Slovakia.

Honorary membership in ICYB – International Centre for Young Beekeepers, z.s. is granted, by decision of ICYB’s core members during a plenary meeting, to individuals who have made a significant contribution to promoting the work of ICYB to the public or who have contributed significantly to the spreading of ICYB’s mission and objectives.
